I love reading your blog!! I searched high and low for other military families online as I prepare for my first deployment with my husband. I also have 3 young children (the youngest is a newborn) and struggle with the idea of survival while my husband is away, putting his life on the line for an entire year. You help put things in to perspective though, reminding me why it is he does what he does (and that we can survive, too)! Thank you!

I am so thankful for those who serve in the armed forces. I wanted so much to join after high school, when I had no direction or ideas of what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, my hearing loss prevented me from joining. But I am so thankful to those who are able to serve!
