Winter’s Comin’…

November 14, 2009 | Filed Under Photos, Winter

It’s true.

Winter’s coming…

Frost 2

whether

Frost 5

we

Frost 8

like

Frost 9

it

Frost 10

or

Frost 3

not.

Frost 6

I say… bring it, ‘ol man Winter. ‘Cause I’m moving back to New Mexico where I’ll have a man in my bed keeping me warm…

Howl away, wind. I win.

p.s. I wondered so I wrote. And I left the comments open.

Buuuuuuurrrrrr….I managed to get my leaves raked this morning about 5 minutes before it started to snow. But like you, that’s a good thing for me….because it means homecoming time is SOOOOOOON!!

    Great pics as always.

I love Winter! Well at least the first couple of weeks and then I am done with it. We lived in Eastern Idaho for 3 years and that was enough to cure me of snow forever though. :) It’s still fun to visit.

Yea for you! We’re nearing Kevin’s first anniversary being home, and I’m remembering the homecoming like it was yesterday. This was an exciting time of year last year, and this year as well, since we’re all together.
We’re in the category of 70’s during the day, which is awesome!! I’m not ready for winter . . .

My favorite picture was the first one but I am so happy that winter will bring you such warmth! (My husband had a hard time with my frozen toes on his feet at night but he said he wouldn’t complain… he had missed them. But apparently not enough to keep him from getting me smart wool socks for Christmas that year!) :o )

I have to say, as much as I miss New England at times, I do not miss waking up to a frosted over car that needs scraping. We occasionally get that here in NC, but it is by no stretch a daily occurrence.

Winter? Really? Here the weather seems to have forgotten it is fall. Granted we tend to have mild winters here in NC, but I could go for the ability to wear long sleeve shirts everyday – maybe even a sweater from time to time. :-) Enjoy the winter there!
